Foxy Reader Set – Voice Labeller & MP3 Player

Description

The Foxy Reader is a talking reader that helps blind and visually impaired people locate consumer goods and consumer durables or their packaging. It can read tactile labels, tags, and playing cards, and also serves as an MP3 player and digital recorder. The device comes with 240 self-adhesive water-resistant tactile labels, 5 waterproof tags for clothes, and a deck of specialty playing cards for the blind. The labels and tags have tactile markings to be easily found with the fingers. The Foxy Reader has a loudspeaker, a microphone, an earphone socket, and a large memory capacity of up to 32GB. It connects to your computer via USB (cable included) to import your MP3 music or audio files to the device.

Foxy Labels and Foxy Tags

The Foxy Reader comes with waterproof adhesive labels and adhesive tags that can be attached to any object. The tags are especially suitable for loops on clothes. Once attached, you can speak your desired product information, which is then stored in the Foxy-Reader. The labels and tags have tactile markings, making them easy to recognize.

Foxy Cards

The Foxy Reader comes with a deck of specialty playing cards for the blind and visually impaired. The cards are printed on both sides with small, area-wide codes that cannot be seen visually. However, the Foxy Reader can recognize them and communicate the card information to the player via earphones. This enables the blind person to play together with sighted friends and acquaintances.
